Dendeng balado to eat with hot steamy rice..
For the meat, we went to our favorite wet market i.e. Chowkit Market in Kuala Lumpur. There are many Indonesian sellers there that make us feel like home. We asked him to slice the meat very thin for dendeng balado. He understood that as he is Indonesian.
The ‘balado’ or the chili condiment was very tasty. Very ‘Indonesian’ with strong flavor of (chili off course), kaffir lime leaf (daun jeruk purut), onion, etc. Yummy!
