Siomay Bandung is basically steamed fish cake with peanut sauce that famous in West Java area (Bandung City). But I think everybody loves it. I sometime have it as lunch but most of the time as an afternoon snack. Yummy!
Siomay Bandung is one of the food that I have to have when going to Indonesia.
This is (if I am not mistaken) Siska’s second trial for Siomay Bandung. Taste great!
The main ingredient is Tenggiri fish (Spanish Mackerel). Despite the name (Spanish) this fish is very common in Indonesia. While the siomay is one thing, the peanut sauce is another important half that really requires a good recipe.
